So you like good beer and good music?
Then you’ve picked the right place. Sunday through Wednesday night after 10pm you can listen to an eclectic mix of music from DJs who spin right from the bar! On Sundays, General Mills spins 50 years of American pop. On Mondays, the Butler offers classic albulm sides from his pretentious record collection. Tuesdays features the Philebrity Salon with Kyle Andrews and Joey Sweeney: jazzy cocktails, films and special Philebrity guests will all be on order. Wednesday nights festure a rotating cast of DJs: the first Wednesday of each month is hosted by Mickey Walker, the second features the international beat sounds of The Drink. On the third Wednesday of each month the employees of the best record store in Philadelphia present A.K.A. Music. The Euro-sounds of The Rutger Hauer Power Hour will fill your ears with foreign on the fourth Wednesday of each month. It’s all an eclectic mix of choice sounds—let’s just say you won’t be hearing the usual crap.
And you like to dance?
We’ve got you covered Thursday through Saturday night after 10pm on our second floor: another bar, couches, a dance floor, DJs and you—let us be your house party! Thursdays feature a rotating roster of DJs spinning everything from 60’s soul to Baltic Disco. On the first Thursday of the month dance the soles off of your blue suede shoes with The Dirty Boogie, presented by The Electric Zeetar and her Butler. And because it only happens once a month, join the ladies of The Rag on the second Thursday as they blend a soothing mix of 60s rock for the body, 70s pop for the soul and 80s craziness for the hair. Third Thursdays the Broad Street Elite presents W.T.F. and all of the right moves. Join Mr. Ten Fingers with his buddy Royal T on the fourth Thursday—your tail feathers will thank you. On Fridays resident DJ Opal Rock spins multi-faceted gems. International man of mystery Ian St. Laurent drops the grooves with style on Saturdays.
And remember, at the 700, there is
Never a Cover.
